SeoHyun: Wow... it is so huge inside here.
Mr.Lee: Well of course. 4 boys living under one roof. The elder two members of the group, YongHwa and JongHyun have their own rooms while MinHyuk and JungShin share's the master bedroom. I should go wake the members up for an introduction.
SeoHyun: Okay... *Thinking to herself* This place is a little untidy, but exactly the normal condition for a boys dormitory. I guess I should even consider it clean, since only boys are staying here.
Mr.Lee: Well... they woke up now. I guess they need some time to wash up.
SeoHyun: Oh, no problem. *In her heart* I'm really going to meet a just awaken Idol! I can feel my heart fluttering.
SeoHyun waits excitedly for the appearance of the C.N.Blue members from their respective bedrooms. After a long time, she starts to look around the penthouse somemore and realises that there is this nice balcony that has a double wooden swing chair. She thought to herself, "I must sit on that someday." Then, the first door opens. I quickly jumped to my feet.
An angelic figure walked out of the room. No doubt, SeoHyun knew who he was.
"OH, anyonghaseyo Mr.Lee. Anyonghaseyo. I'm JongHyun."
"Anyonghaseyo, I'm Seo Ki Bum"
Then, slowly, one by one, the remaining 3 members came out of their rooms with an equal sleepy face. Eventhough so, I still find them cute.
Mr. Lee: Boys, this is your new temporary manager, Seo Ki Bum -shii.
C.N.Blue: Anyonghaseyo...
SeoHyun: Anyonghaseyo. I hope we will work well together from now on. I'm still new in this area so please help me out if I did any mistakes.
Mr.Lee: Ki Bum-shii, you know all the members well? Do you need me to introduce you one-by-one?
SeoHyun: There's no need, Mr.Lee. I'm quite familiar with all of them as they are so famous nowadays.
JungShin: Really? Hahaha! Hyung! Ki Bum-shii thinks we're famous too! Oh right, Ki Bum-shii... how old are you? You look very young.
SeoHyun: Oh! I..I..I'm not young. I just look young. I'm already 26 years old. So, I guess I'm a hyung to all of you.
JungShin: Really? Wow... You look like you just reached 20. Anyway, I'm the maknae of the group. I'm 20 now.
MinHyuk: Today's our day off. Should we celebrate the arrival of a new manager hyung?
C.N.Blue: YEAH! Let's eat out for lunch!
JungShin: I want to eat pizza!
YongHwa: No! JungShin ah, you just had it yesterday in Thailand!
JungShin: ARGH! Why not... *starts pouting*
JongHyun: Let's just have a proper Korean Barbeque? It's been so long since proper Korean food entered my stomach.
YongHwa: Okay! Great idea. I think I have forgotten the taste of Kimchi now.
and....the blabbering continues.
To SeoHyun, the atmosphere was a lot better than she thought it would be. The members just look like how they act in the reality TV shows. They are so cheerful and energetic. It made SeoHyun feel like she can get use to these kind of environment easily. She felt welcomed at that house too. Everybody seems to be happy about the last manager leaving. Whatever it is, it is a good start!
[Korean Barbeque Restaurant]
JongHyun: Manager hyung, where are you from? Do you stay far away?
SeoHyun: Oh... I am from the countryside actually. I just moved to Seoul about 2 days ago. Just lucky enough for me to bump into this job so fast.
JongHyun: I see. I'm from Busan. Have you been there?
SeoHyun: Erm... no.
Nichkhun: Hehehe... YongHwa hyung is also from Busan.
MinHyuk: Manager hyung, what do you want to eat? JongHyun's favourite is the samgyupsal. We love bulgogi very much too!
SeoHyun: Eh? OH... Anything will do...
JungShin: Okay, then we shall order 2 of this, this, this, this and this.
SeoHyun: Wait a minute! It is so much. Can we finish it?
JungShin: Of course. We will be able to finish it the moment it is set on the table. Hyung, don't be fooled by our bodies. *Caressing his lean stomach*
SeoHyun: Oh... that's right. I guess you all need a lot of energy for those busy schedules. *Blushing at the sight of JungShin showing off his lean stomach*
JungShin: Anyway, manager hyung, THANK YOU VERY MUCH!
C.N.Blue: Yeah, KAMSHAHAMNIDA!
SeoHyun: Eh?! Why?
YongHwa: You are the newcomer now right? So, hyung you've got to buy us lunch! Everybody in the company does this. It is tradition!
SeoHyun: *Frantic* But...but... you ordered so much! I did not bring so much money! How am I suppose to pay it?
C.N.Blue: *Looking at SeoHyun with weird expressions*
SeoHyun: ..... How about I spend you all, the next time? Erm, exactly one month after this meal, okay? I promise to buy you all each a seat in a buffet restaurant.
YongHwa: Really? That's even better! We'll surely choose that!
C.N.Blue: Don't forget your promise hyung!
JongHyun: This time, we shall split the total and pay equally. It's too bad that we did not come out with the production team. Otherwise, we won't have to pay a single cent!
SeoHyun: Uh... yeah... I guess so. The food arrived. Let's cook it and eat soon.
Everybody: Chalmu-kesumnida!
[Outside the Korean Barbeque Restaurant]
JungShin: OH! I'm so full. We should always eat like this hyung!
SeoHyun: Really? You all need to eat this much EVERYDAY?
JungShin: Yes, please!
SeoHyun: EH?............... *feeling bewildered*
YongHwa: Hehe... JungShin is just kidding hyung. He always still eat that much because he is still growing a lot. All the members think he wouldn't stop growing for sure.
JungShin: Haha! Nowadays all the fan girls like tall guys! Yah hyung, I have more benefit in this than you.
YongHwa: *Turning red* Yah! Are you trying to pick on hyung's weakness?
SeoHyun: Erm... I will try my bes.... *cut off at middle sentence*
SUDDENLY!!
A group of fangirls: Oh my GOD! OPPA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YOU'RE SO HANDSOME!
Fangirl 1: YongHwa oppa! JongHyun oppa! MinHyuk oppa! JungShin oppa! You're so CUTE!
Fangirl 2: OH MY GOD! It is C.N.Blue! MINHYUK OPPA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE YOU!
Fangirl 1: YAH! HOW CAN YOU LOVE OPPA! HE IS MINE! *starts to shout at fangirl 2*
Fangirl 2: ARE YOU CRAZY? HE IS MINE!
Fangirl 1 and 2: *screaming and shouting at each other like mad woman*
YongHwa: Yah, MinHyuk... another two fangirls who went crazy fighting for you.
MinHyuk: Yah, stop kidding and let's run. They might come over here.
SeoHyun: *In a midst of shock and don't know what to do. Frozen still.*
MinHyuk: Manager hyung, you're not leaving? Faster get into the car!
SeoHyun: What? * Slowly coming to her senses* OH THAT'S RIGHT!
C.N.Blue: *eagerly forcing themselves into the car*
SeoHyun: You all faster enter the van! I'm behind you guys. *thinking to herself* I'm the manager now. I should protect them.
JungShin: Ki bum hyung, faster get in. *holding out the sliding door.*
SeoHyun: Coming! *entering the huge van quickly that she only ride once before*
JungShin: *quickly closes the sliding door*
SeoHyun: AHHH!
JungShin: Hyung ah! Mianhe! I didn't do it on purpose! *frantically apologising to SeoHyun for closing the sliding door onto her wrist.*
SeoHyun: It's okay. Let's just leave this place. Close the door! *terribly afraid of the mad fangirls*
JungShin: *closes door and the van leaves* Hyung, is your hand okay?
SeoHyun: It is okay! It doesn't hurt anymore.
JungShin: Really? *not believing SeoHyun*
SeoHyun: Of course. It's just a small matter. Don't mind too much, JungShin-shii.
[C.N.Blue Dormitory]
MinHyuk: That was close. Hmmm... Manager hyung, you seem so inexperience. You were so shocked just now.
SeoHyun: Wha...? Oh... Yes. Erm, I told you guys I really am just a newbie. Please take care of me too.
MinHyuk: Ah... Don't worry bout' that. You will get used to it soon. Just like us :D
SeoHyun: Yes... thank you.
YongHwa: Okay. Now that we're home and we have our day off, let's settle our rooms. Erm, since you're the manager Ki Bum hyung, I guess I will move out of my room for you. Jong Hyun's room is bigger than mine. You can have my room but it is a little small.
SeoHyun: Really? But... then you will have to share rooms. It's not that good...
YongHwa: Yah... I'm the group leader, hyung. This is my responsibility, right? I should arrange things nicely.
SeoHyun: But... JongHyun-shii... you okay with this?
JongHyun: Of course. We used to have even smaller rooms and smaller dormitories before we got famous. Plus, I guess hyung will be more comfortable sleeping alone. After all, we just met. We may feel awkward sharing a room, is it not? So, YongHwa hyung's decision is the best.
YongHwa: See? Manager hyung, don't worry bout' all this. Ah... we seldom sleep in the dorm anyway. We may be sleeping in hotels again for the next few days. Haih...
SeoHyun: Oh... you all have special schedules? You all going somewhere? I'm so sorry. I just started today and I didn't even start understanding your schedules yet. Mianhe...
MinHyuk: For now, if there are no sudden changes, we should be spending this week in our dorms. We need to practice a lot this week. For our debut in Korea, our first album's singles, "I'm A Loner".
SeoHyun: Oh... Kurom... Erm... What does the previous manager do? *timidly asking*
JongHyun: Hehe, hyung, you would have to drive us to the practice room, drive us back, get us food, book our practice room, and make sure our practices don't clash with other schedules. Hyung, this week is only practices. So relax! It's like being our babysitter.
SeoHyun: Oh... I see. I will try to do my best!
C.N.Blue: HAHAHAHAHA! Hyung, you're the funniest manager ever. We've never seen a manager hyung keep telling us, "I will do my best." Just relax.
YongHwa: Erm, then do you want us to help you unpack?
SeoHyun: Wha...WHAT?!
YongHwa: *stunned* Err... help you unpack?
SeoHyun: NO NO NO NO NO!
YongHwa: *more shocked* Is something the matter? Hyung, why do you react like this?
SeoHyun: OH... I mean, I can manage it myself. Kamsahamnida!
YongHwa: *looking at SeoHyun with weird expression* Okay then...
SeoHyun: *Grabbing her luggage and quickly disappears into YongHwa's room*
[Inside YongHwa's old room (SeoHyun's room)]
SeoHyun: *closes room door* Fooh... That was close. Imagine letting the members seeing woman's panties and menstruation pads. Today was definitely the craziest in my life. Hmmm... But, YongHwa haven't shift out his stuff yet. OH? A piano keyboard? Can I play it? Maybe I should turn it's volume to the lowest.
As SeoHyun turned on the keyboard and sat down on a chair, her fingers miraculously played out Yiruma's famous piano piece - Kiss The Rain. It was so soft that none of the members outside heard it. Only SeoHyun can hear it. SeoHyun clearly remembered the last time she played her old piano at the countryhouse, the hour before they left the house. It was old, but it was her favourite too. When they decided to move to Seoul, Mrs.Seo said that shifting the old piano would cost them more money. So, SeoHyun was forced to leave her favourite instrument behind in the house to be sold to the new owner too. She missed the sound of the piano so much. She was so immersed in the beautiful melody that she did not realise her room door creaking open.
As she finally ended Yiruma's "Kiss the Rain", she lifted her head and she saw something at the corner of her eye.
SeoHyun: OH! I'm so sorry. I should've asked!
YongHwa: Hyung... you can play the piano?
SeoHyun: Yeah... I guess I learned it at the countryside...
YongHwa: So well...? *seems bedazzled by the melody that SeoHyun played*
SeoHyun: Erm, is it good? Oh... thank you. I don't know, really. I mostly play by ear after I listen to some piano pieces that I like.
YongHwa: Ah... so you love the piano then. Hyung, why don't I leave the piano keyboard here? JongHyun's room can fit in so much things anyway. I just need to have my guitar, hehe!
SeoHyun: Chongmal? Really? Thank you very much! You are doing way too many things for me.
YongHwa: Oh please, it's just nothing. We have to live harmoniously together as a team!
SeoHyun: I do feel a little touched. I did not expect such nice people in the city.
YongHwa: What? That's rubbish! Everybody is okay:) I will just take my belongings and leave.
SeoHyun: Okay... * starting to look attentively at YongHwa unpacking his wardrobe*
When YongHwa finally left SeoHyun alone in the room:
SeoHyun: *thinking to herself* YongHwa oppa... seems like a nice person. ARGH! I should lock the door and take off this wig. It's so hot inside.
After that, SeoHyun just lay down onto the bed and fall dead asleep. In her dreams, she can see herself on stage playing a beautiful piece of melody. It was so nice she didn't want to get up. She looked so beautiful, like a different person. Then, who is the woman next to her? She can't see her face clearly. Hmmm... everything is so nice. So many people cheering for her.
Then, " DOOK DOOK DOOK! Hyung, get up now. We're running late for our practice!
SeoHyun: WHAT?!
She sit up straight in her bed, trying to figure what is happening until she realises that she is now in C.N.Blue's dorm with a huge secret. SeoHyun quickly ties up her long hair and put on her wig with a just-woke-up look. She nearly forgot her glasses too.
"Hyung ah! Wake up! We're late! We have booked a specific time slot for our practice!"
SeoHyun: *thinking to herself* OH MY GOD! This is turning into a nightmare. How can I manage this very morning?! WHERE ARE THE MEN CLOTHES?! ARGH!!
